INSIDE-THE-ROPES INNOVATION: ELEVATING TOURNAMENT CONTENT
Golf Space Collective broke new ground in tournament content by becoming one of the first creative teams to operate under the PGA TOUR’s newly redefined media guidelines. This shift allowed for exclusive access, and we capitalized on it—producing never-before-seen inside-the-ropes footage with players during their practice rounds and pre-round range sessions. The result was a dynamic, behind-the-scenes look at the game that connected fans more deeply with the athletes and the tournament experience.
We embraced a point-of-view (POV) storytelling approach, capturing content from the perspective of players, caddies, and insiders. This raw, immersive style translated across platforms, driving exceptional engagement on social media and distinguishing our coverage from traditional broadcasts.
The event’s digital footprint has grown year-over-year across every major metric—impressions, engagements, and video views—each year since we began our partnership. Most notably, in the past year alone, we grew the tournament’s Instagram account by 10%, breaking past the 50K follower threshold and landing at 53K—marking a significant milestone in the brand’s digital evolution.
